About Us
Driving is more than a skill—it’s a path to independence, confidence, and connection. At Turn Driving School, we specialize in helping individuals of all ages and abilities become safer, more capable drivers.
Founded by Melanie Henry, a Licensed Driving Instructor, Driver Rehabilitation Professional and member of the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED), Turn Driving School was built on the belief that everyone deserves personalized support behind the wheel. Whether you're a teen, or an adult preparing for your driver license, or a young adult who is neurodivergent and learns differently or you're an older driver returning to driving, or needing help and practice for an upcoming DMV Road Test, we’re here to help.
Why Us
We take pride in offering adaptive, inclusive driving instruction tailored to each person's learning style, cognitive needs, and comfort level. With a strong foundation in driving instruction, case management, risk evaluation, cognitive driver assessments, and driver remediation we are uniquely qualified to work with:
- Teens and young adults with learning differences including those with autism, ADHD or anxiety.
- Older drivers seeking a refresher session or support with an upcoming DMV Road Test.
- Medically at-risk drivers recovering from a medical condition, a fall, a fender-bender or haven't driven in a while and confidence is low.
